Moving In Information

Before

  • Keep an eye out for two emails from us before you move in. One will be an invitation to register for an online payment portal and the second would be letting you know if you could possibly move in early.

  • Contact your utility companies about a month or two before you move in to get your apartment in your name. Tell them your guaranteed move in date. If you get to move in early, it is easier to change the date than to set a new appointment. Click here for more information.

  • If you have any pets that you have note registered, make sure to register them & pay their fee BEFORE they move in. Click here for more information.

  • When you come in to pick up your keys, you will also get a move-in packet with various forms for you to fill out including 24-hour maintenance, parking, pets, furniture, and smoke detectors.

Paying Rent

  • A few months before you move in, you should have been invited to set up your online payment portal through email and text.

  • Appfolio Portal: pay here.

    • You can pay with credit or debit card with a fee or with an e-check with no additional fee.​

  • You can always pay in the office with cash, check, money order, or cashier's check.​

    • You can bring it in, drop it off in the drop box on the south side of the office, or mail it to the office.​

  • You can pay as late as the 3rd of each month without paying any late fees.​

  • We start charging late fees on the 4th of the month. It is $5 per day until your rent is paid.

  • Your tenant ledger needs to be at zero each month.

    • You can not carry balances past each rent due date.

  • All payments will be applied to the oldest charges first.​

After

  • The first person that picks up keys for your unit will be required to fill out a 24-hour maintenance form provided by the office. You need to document any maintenance issues in your apartment so we can fix them in a timely manner and not hold you liable for any of them when you move out. We use this same form when we perform your move-out inspection.

  • If you need to request maintenance, please make a Maintenance Request on your portal. It is the best and most efficient way. Click here for more information.

  • If you will have a vehicle or bicycle on campus, please register it at the office. For vehicles, you are required to provide your vehicle registration to get a parking permit for your building. Click here for more information.

  • If you are in need of furniture, we will be selling ours for the following prices:

    • Twin Mattress $50-$75​

    • 4-5 Drawer Dresser $50

    • Twin Bed Frame $20

    • Bar Stool $10

    • *You haul if purchased.​
